2. Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, and hashed password when you create an account.
• Waitlist data: name, email, and optionally country when you join the waitlist.
• Usage data: URLs and text you submit for analysis, analysis results, and usage frequency (to enforce plan limits).
• Payment data: handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or bank details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session tokens for authentication and abuse prevention.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Baylish fact-checking service.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Razorpay.
• To contact you when your waitlist application is approved.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Data Storage

All user data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on EU/US infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Razorpay — payment processing (subject to their Privacy Policy).
• External data APIs (PubMed, WHO, openFDA, etc.) — queried at analysis time; no personal data is sent to them.

6. Your Rights

• Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate data.
• Portability: request export of your analysis history in a machine-readable format.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are embedded in the product.
